Tottenham Hotspur will be looking to bring in another attacker before the transfer window closes to replace Bryan Gil who is closing in on a move to La Liga club Valencia, according to The Athletic.
Italian transfer expert Fabrizio Romano revealed on Twitter earlier today that the winger is closing in on a return to Valencia, where he spent the second half of last season on loan.
The 21-year-old is set to return to the Mestalla on a loan deal which does not include the option for the La Liga outfit to make the deal permanent next summer.
Gil has been on the bench for Spurs’ first three games of the season but finds himself behind the likes of Harry Kane, Heung-min Son, Dejan Kulusevski, Richarlison and Lucas Moura in the pecking order.

Gil was signed by Tottenham to much hype following impressive performances that the player displayed in the La Liga, however, the Spaniard struggled to adapt to English football.
With the winger unlikely to get regular game time in north London this season, it is in the best interests of the player and Tottenham to ensure he is featuring for a team who can get him on the pitch, even if it is to allow Spurs to maximise his value for down the line.
