PSG midfielder Leonardo Parades, who Tottenham have been linked with in the past has agreed on personal terms with Serie A giants Juventus ahead of a possible move to Turin, according to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano.
Calciomercato reported back in April that Spurs manager Antonio Conte would welcome a move for the talented Argentinian to add to the midfield options that he has at his disposal.
Tottenham reportedly tried to sign the PSG midfielder back in January, according to the Athletic. However, they ended up signing Rodrigo Bentancur from Juventus instead, a move which has paid dividends considering the pact the Uruguyan has had alongside Dejan Kulusevski in helping the club to pip Arsenal to a fourth replace finish in the Premier League.
Juventus now look set to sign the talented midfielder from PSG, putting an end to Spurs’ pursuit of the 28-year-old midfielder. Romano however claims that for the move to happen, the Old Lady will want to sell either Adrien Rabiot, who has been linked with Manchester United or Arthur.
Parades played just 22 times for Mauricio Pochettino’s side last season due to recurrent injuries, scoring one goal and providing two assists across all competitions. (transfermarkt)

Our View
Parades would have been a good addition to the Spurs squad had we chosen to sign him back in January but we chose to go with Rodrigo Bentancur and it is safe to say that signing the Uruguayan midfielder has been a good decision until now.
If Juventus are to sign the PSG player, it will put an end to our links to him at least for the time being. It should not be an issue for us though as we have made solid acquisitions like Yves Bissouma this summer and our midfield is well stocked as it stands.
