London World journalist Rahman Osman has revealed that Arsenal may have concerns regarding Thomas Partey’s fitness ahead of the North London derby after the midfielder pulled out of Ghana’s clash against Brazil on Friday.
Both Tottenham and Arsenal have made a great start to the season, with the Gunners sitting at the top of the table after seven matches while the Lilywhites are just a point behind in third place.
Antonio Conte’s men are unbeaten in the Premier League so far this season but the trip to the Emirates on October 1 arguably represents their most difficult test of the season so far, given the for that Arsenal have been in.
Spurs have a couple of injury concerns ahead of the game with Ben Davies in a race against time to be fit for the derby while Hugo Lloris is also a doubt after withdrawing from the France squad due to a thigh injury (Football.London).
Osman has now taken to social media to reveal that Mikel Arteta’s men may have an injury concern of their own after Partey withdrew from Ghana’s friendly against Brazil after he felt some discomfort during the warm-up.
I’m hearing Thomas Partey has pulled out of Ghana’s game against Brazil due to knock. Was in the line-up to start but felt something during warm-up. Not the news Arsenal fans would like to hear.

Partey missing the game will be a huge blow to Arsenal as they are not the same team with one of Lokonga or Elneny in the middle of the park instead of the Ivorian.
Irrespective of whether Partey is fit, I would not be surprised if Conte opts for a 3-5-2 at the Emirates just to ensure we do not get overrun in midfield.
